Neknominate Textile Prints

Looking back at the range of textile prints I created for the spring/summer 2014 Max Mollison collection ‘Neknominate’. The prints were based around toxic masculinity and dangerous drinking culture. View here the scrapbook style prints and how they were used on the garments. For this particular collection I used a technique where I fused digitally printed cotton on to denim and distressed the denim over the edges to give a derelict cigarette burn look. Duct tape-look closures were also created by digitally printing on to Velcro. The fabric was printed on Spoonflower.com
