VIVA Magazine X Max Mollison AR Filter

I was commissioned to create an augmented reality Instagram filter to celebrate VIVA Magazines first glossy stand-alone issue. The New Zealand herald's VIVA magazine is launching VIVA Volume 1, an issue that will be over 150 pages and sold in supermarkets and magazine stores across New Zealand on August 31. VIVA wanted a glossy AR filter to accompany the launch that is based on the idea of identity and explores everything they do in terms of fashion, beauty and design. The filter is made up of translucent 3D flowers and letters that slowly move and pulse while an iridescent gloss moves on the wearers face. A purple haze also glows around the body.
